A 3d sculpt of a Kappa I made in Zbrush and further polished in photoshop.

The kappa is well known in the Japanese culture and is often portrayed as a turtle like creature with a puddle on top of their head. Because the kappa is described both friendly and dangerous I wanted to implement both these elements in my design.

This particulier kappa is befriended with a monk child and later works as a mailman delivering mail in the neighbouring town.
